File Reader
If you have a lot of objects on your website, use this tool. It allows
you to create a ROR file from a tab-delimited text file with
your products, articles, links, or contacts information. Note: this
tools can read product feeds for Froogle, Yahoo Shopping, etc.
The text file must have
this format:
- one object per line (for example a product)
- object properties separated by a tab character
When your file is ready fill out the form below and click Get
ROR file. A new browser window will open with your
ROR file inside. At that point, click File
--> Save As and save the file as ror.xml.
Then add the file to your site, in the main directory.

Map the object properties with the column in the file. If a property
does not exist in the file, enter X, or leave blank.

Notes
This tools will offer more option in the future (e.g. other separators,
additional objects and properties, etc).
If you have a lot of objects in a database, don't re-type all the information.
Ask your webmaster or host or store provider to export the data from
the database into a tab-delimited text file and send it to you
(it's a simple operation).
